Ignorance

They don’t understand, and how can they not?

Those stupid, dull people, who would rather be shot

Then understand another person, put away childish things.

But someday they’ll realize that I’m not what I seem

It’s so disappointing to see

Those people

Who won’t look after me

Those people

Who I once called my friends

Whose friendship I won’t bother to mend.

It wouldn’t be worth it after all

Insensitive and absorbed in their own selfish thralls

I’ll watch as they righteously tie themselves onto the pyre

And oh-so-dramatically set themselves on fire

It’s all about them, and their own simple minds

It never changes; it’s the same old line!

Would it be too much for them to stop and think?

To look at those feelings they step on, that they never see?

It’s so disappointing to see

Those people

Who won’t look after me

Those people

Emotionally lynching

Others without even flinching

You wonder where all of the good people went

You’re one of the bad ones, all offense meant

So go ahead and pretend it’s all right

To crush someone and push them aside

And I really wouldn’t be surprised

If you said you loved me and lied.

Alrighty, I wrote this after I got really pissed off at people in general for being so damn DUMB. High school sucks, blah, blah, blah, no one cares, blah, blah… the same old stuff. Anyway, please R/R. I have to go finish my homework now.
