Hel packed her things and jumped upon Goliath who was still startled from the dragon.
Mina mounted her horse in silence and followed Hel down the path past the Dragon and down the other side of the mountain. Mina couldn’t bear to look at the two dead bodies so she stared at Hel’s back instead...
They rode down the mountain in silence to a small village outside the forest leading to Lubania, the forest where that nightmare began fourteen years ago.
Night was creeping up as they rode in the town. The village was rundown and awful, rats and thieves everywhere you looked. Mina covered her mouth from the smell of rotting flesh; she was back in the land of the dead that she had abandoned many years ago.
Those awful undead creatures roamed the place tormenting villagers Hel smiled at the sight. It was like the place she belonged, a place she could torture innocent people.
Hel went around the back of an Inn and tied her horse where no one would see, and then she walked around the front to enter the Inn. Mina quickly followed scared for her life as the undead smirked at her.
In front of the door stood three decaying undead corpses laughing through hollowed out mouths, Mina felt weak in the knees.
Hel smiled and walked up the stairs looming over them while Mina stayed at the bottom. When they saw Hel they laughed bitterly not realizing who it was.
“Having fun boys?” She giggled.
“What is it for you to know girly?” They chuckled elbowing each other whispering cruel jokes.
Hel’s eyes lit up as she shifted, all she was doing was looking for trouble. Tossing her hair back she reached down for her sword as Mina winced at the sound of sliding metal.
The undead stopped laughing seeing the bite on her neck, “Who are you?” There were three of them in all as the pulled out their poison blades, the blades that killed Hel’s Father Arthur.
The one pointed at Mina and then back to Hel, “I know who they are! There is talk amongst the dead, that’s the witch that killed the great Luan! That means...” He gulped looking at Hel realizing who she was, “Your that blood thirsty killer, Hel!”
Hel’s expression fell at the sound that SHE didn’t get to kill Luan, Mina did, “How disappointing...” She whispered leaning back; “I’m going to have to kill you now...”
They all laughed, “You can’t kill us demon, we live forever as the undead!”
“Then you’ll live forever in a thousand pieces...” She spoke crisply the words rolling off her tongue.
The undead snorted and slipped their blades back in their sheaths, “No sense fighting our own kind right boys?” The one grumbled as they walked past the two of them.
Hel turned around and spit on one to get him angry but it didn’t work. She stomped her foot yelling out obscene names at them with no availability, they refused to fight the legendary Hel.
Mina rolled her eyes, “What are you always looking for a fight? Can’t you just enjoy life for the time that we have it?”
Hel grunted sheathing her sword and walking into the Inn, “(Enjoy life? What a bitch...)”
The inside of the Inn was a lot nicer than the town; candles lined the wall and old armor hung as decoration. Mina actually liked it; nice and dead person-less she called it.
Hel strode up to the man at the counter; he was old and could barely stand on his own two feet. His face was withering and he missed all of his teeth, he must have not been making enough money to get a good healer...
“I need a room with two separate beds...” She hissed like a snake.
The man gulped at her appearance, he knew damn well who she was, “Uh... Yes ma’am room 3... That will be 6 silver pieces…”
Hel smirked at him, “You going to make me pay old man?”
The man cowered and shook his head sliding away from the counter freighted.
Hel snickered and walked up the old stairs heading to her room.
Mina glared as she went still standing by the counter; she reached into her pouch for money. All that was in there were 4 silver pieces and a copper piece; she had spent the rest to get Hel help.
The man looked at her, “Can I help you dear?” He smiled for the first time she had seen him.
Mina forced a smile, “I want to pay for our rooms but this is all I have...” She held out the coins.
He reached down and closed her palm, “Keep you money dear, it seems as if you’re on a difficult journey... You will need everything you have.”
Mina smiled and turned her hand letting them fall to the counter, “I don’t need them...” Then she looked at the stairs where her old friend disappeared to, “I’ve got Livia...”

Eve ran a hand along the stain glass window of the castle, Mary and baby Jesus were preserved perfectly well in it untouched. Eve stopped pressing her face against the cold glass, “The dragon failed to bring my prize home...”
She glared into space, “Why am I feeling this way, I am unconquerable...” She was getting worried, Hel hadn’t turned Vampire like yet nor had she died. She closed her eyes briefly until a hand touched her shoulder.
She turned her head to see the kings 10 year old son Demi, “What do you want!?” She hissed intensively.
He cowered back, “I couldn’t sleep I had a nightmare about my mom...” The boy was a sweet one, big head of brown curls, large blue eyes. Little did he know Eve had killed his mother when she found out the king was playing around with her.
Eve pressed her head against the glass closing her eyes once more, thinking. She stood there for a few moments in silence. The air was heavy as the son stood there. Suddenly an idea came to mind as she stood up straight with glee in her eyes.
She flattened her dress walking away from the huge stain glass, “A nightmare is perfect! I’ll pull that demon warrior into a dream she can’t escape!”
She looked at the boy with fire in her eyes, “My rebellion is beginning boy...” She neared the boy her happy expression fading being replaced by a wicked sneer.
Demi took a step back scared, “What are you doing?” He asked in scared breaths.
“Oh nothing much, just taking care of the royal family... One child at a time...” She snapped her fingers as two undead monsters appeared from the stone floor.
Her eyes pieced the frightened boy as he began to run, run for his father.
“Kill him...” She hissed as they sprinted after him. Turning back to the stain glass portrait she smirked hearing the boy’s cries and screams... Then there was silence.
Then out of nowhere she blew away the glass picture of Mary and Jesus with fire from her fingertips, “Hel you have played the game... Now it’s my turn...”
