Just Divine

Why is it I can't stand you,
Yet I crave your touch?
Why is it that I hate you,
Yet love you so damn much?

When I say leave I mean it,
But I'm begging you to stay.
No one has ever infuriated me,
Yet appealed to me this way.

The pain you bring is devastating,
But the pleasure is just divine.

Such desire I have never known.
Such hatred I have never known.

My blood is on your hands,
And I see your smile.
I feel your lips on mine,
I feel your soiled hands on my skin.

My body betrays its self.
My mind tells me I must hate you,
But my heart says that isn't so.
What am I missing?

The pain you bring is devastating,
But the pleasure is just divine.

Such desire I have never known,
Such hatred I have never known.
