Dreamer

I feel the wind blow across my face,

Blowing my hair out of place

My feet graze the dew wet grass

Spinning in circles as I look at him,

Looking in his eyes,

Into his soul,

As he looks in mine

Everything around us is fading away,

All that matters now is us

Our surrounding make no difference,

As long as we’re together

My feet touch the ground again,

The world stops spinning,

As he sets me down,

And smiles at me,

And I smile back

Then I open my eyes,

Laying there listening to my alarm

It was all a dream,

Or was it,

An image of the future,

A dream for the future,

Or a glimpse of the past
