Author: Mistress Jakira Ever notice how punctuation has so many double meanings? Borders on humor and angst, sort of. Most of the word count is made up of A/N, it's pretty short in actuality. Free verse.

I hate punctuation
Why must it be that
Punctuation
Always represents
The worst of things
The period
Oh bother
Comes at the end of every sentence
And the end of every month
I hate punctuation
Colon
Oh gee
Indicational mark
Or perhaps intestinal
I hate punctuation
Comma
So common and
So very close to
Coma
I hate punctuation
And could it be
The reason why
There is none in this
Impromptu punctless poem
Author s Notes Perhaps I ll
go so far as to not put punctuation in the author s notes either
maybe just spaces...nah. ^_~
The poem is pretty self-explanatory. That-Time-of-the-Month
had some serious influence here, obviously. Eheh. So I suppose
female readers will understand the first part even more fully. But
anyway, punctless is a word I made up because the online Merriam-Webster's
dictionary (http://www.m-w.com/ -- I like it much better than dictionary.com)
wasn't giving me a way to write "without punctuation" in one word like
I wanted to. So I just made up my own word. Fun, and e.e. cummings
does it all the time, so why can't I? (I have this bias against e.e. cummings
with all that senselessness, inventiveness in diction, and misplacement
of, ironically, punctuation--sorry for anyone who happens to like this
particular author) Anywho, thanks for taking the time to read. ^_^ Greatly
appreciated!! ~MJ
