We spent the evening watching TV and laughing at things that weren't even funny. I don't think I had such a good time as she did because I mostly planning her death. Nighttime came quickly and it was only until she had told me that she was tired did I think of a plan. I showed her to my bedroom and she fell asleep quickly, while I gave the excuse of watching more TV. What I really did was mixed the substances together and put the small glass in the fridge, for later. I went upstairs to join her and waited for the right time to come.

In Krystina's View... I awoke in the middle of the night, needing to use the restroom. I peered over at Mike, his eyes were shut tight and snores escaped his lips every so often. I sighed and quietly got up to find the restroom. I wanted something to happen between us that night but I grew tired quickly from the plane. Maybe tonight we'll hit it off, I thought to myself as I drug my tired body down the stairs. I found a door and opened it, hearing the squeak that followed. It seemed to be some sort of a basement. I began to close the door when something hit my eye. It was a trapdoor, half-covered with a dirty rug. I turned around behind me and when I saw pure darkness, I crept into the room, closing the door behind me. I walked down the few steps that led to a lower level and pushed the rug across the room and open the trap door.

I was surpised by the earth that was seen from the open door. Not being fooled, I stomped my foot on the piece of land and watched it fall down a small, steep tunnel that led straight down. On the side of the tunnel was a ladder and as curiosty got the best of me, I climbed down. With each step downard, an odor grew thicker. I was nearly gagging by the time I touched the ground. I began walking straight as the path was and stared at the lights around me. Who would have built this tunnel and for what reason? I though to myself as I aprroached a huge pile of....bodies! I gasped at the decaying stack of humans, their eyes gleaming with death. I let out a shriek and covered me face. Tears rushed from my eyes, in horror with what I had seen. The guy I was in love with a killer! I turned around and ran down the tunnel and furiously climbed up the ladder. I busted through the hidden trapdoors and crawled to the corner. Sobs escaped my trembling lips. I didn't know what to do.

Mike's View...

I heard a slam and it woke me up. I jerked my body up, knowing Krystina had woke up. I looked over and found the tangle of covers, no body inside. I grunted and ran downstairs to find her. She wasn't in the kitchen, bathroom, or the living room. It hit me hard, she was in the basement and she had found the tunnel! I jogged to the door and busted it open. I heard a sound and spotted her, hidden in the darkness of a corner. Her hair was matted onto her pale skin and tears were wiping her cheeks gently. She whimpered when my eyes met hers.

"What's wrong?" I asked, moving toward her carefully. I knew she saw the bodies, there was no explanation. She got up, her legs shaking under her. She came toward me slowly and walked past me to the trapdoors. She pointed at them.

"D-Do you know w-what's in here?" She asked, stammering with fear. I nodded and I could see her body tremble with more force. I grabbed her arms and she screamed, struggling. I dragged her into the hidden room and shoved her in there. She rubbed her arms, as if I had hurt them.

"Here," I said, motioning my arms around the deteriorating room. "is where I will starve you until you are too weak to move. Then, I'll kill you." I said and she collapsed. Most people would run to their aide, helping them up. I, on the other hand, left the room and left her to die. I felt bad for a while, for I really did like her. Not only was her beauty astonishing but I didn't plan to kill her. That's why I fell asleep, but she ruined it all. I slammed my fist with rage into the wall next to the hidden door. I heard her whimper inside, but I didn't care. I settled down on the couch, staring into space.

It was two hours later when I decided I would kill her. I entered the room and saw her huddled over, trembling at the sight of me. She let out a few more tears and I walked toward her. She squirmed away to another corner but I grabbed her arm gently to stop her.

"It's alright." I said in my best soothing voice. I bent down. Her eyes looked at me with sympathy. "I'm sorry." I said, sighing slightly to give her a hint of regret. She bought it well and hugged me. I was grossed out by the tears that were wiped on my shirt but I didn't want to blow my cover. I helped her stand up and although it was only a few hours later, she looked as if she had been there for years, consumed by darkness. I told her stay there, I was going to bring her a drink. I saw a hint of happiness glow within her eyes as I left for the poison. I grabbed the cold cup from the fridge and gave it to her. She eyed it and I smiled, giving her a sense of comfort. She drank it, all at once, and grasped her throat. I laughed loudly as she collapsed. I could have sworn she was dead so I turned around and began to get the fire ready.

Just then I felt a fierce grip on my shoulders that pulled me back. Before I realized what was going on, I was being held down by Krystina and she had spit the formular all over my face. My eyes burned and I couldn't see straight. I struggled, trying to get free from her grasp, but my vision was too clouded and I felt the mixture eat away at my eyes. I screamed in pain as I opened my eyes and the air hit them. I was being hit over and over by Krystina, but my force was too weak to stop her.

Soon, I was just lying there, half-dead in my mind. I could hear or see Krystina...Had she run off to tell others? I questioned. I fumbled to my feet and began feeling my way around the room until I could tell I was in the living room. I felt a breeze and silently concluded that Krystina left without closing the door. I felt my foot hit something hard and I was sent slamming into the floor. I reached around to find out what I had tripped unpon, but nothing except the smooth carpet was felt. I decided it didn't matter and kept walking to where the front door was, planning to close it. As I reached to where the door would be, I felt clothing, the clothing of a person standing. I sighed.

"Help." I moaned in a defenseless voice.

"Fuck you!" The person yelled and I knew it was Krystina. Then I felt a pain pierce through my head and I collapsed. I could feel blood pour down my face as I weakily reached up and felt what I had been hit with. I felt the smooth surface of metal, followed by hard plastic. I had been stabbed. I could feel the air become more icy with each breath and I knew I was going to die. For the first time in my life, and this was the end of it, I regretted each murder.

+I hope you like the ending. Sorry it took forever it get it uploaded! My life hasn't been so good lately...it's probably the worst of the worst! Anyways, I'll try to keep updating Abandoned Soul more often :-) R&R
