It is the nighttime,

And two bright, city lights shine.

They stretch on for a distance,

Almighty and fine.

They start at the site,

Where two brothers once stood.

And extend into the sky,

For causes of good.

Remembering the events,

That changed so many lives.

But showed we were strong,

Holding charities and blood drives.

Those damn terrorists,

Can never scare us.

They just brought us closer together,

Without any big fuss.

We don’t need,

Two buildings of steel.

In a weird, but certain, way,

It was a good deal.

We are stronger than ever,

Filled with love and hope.

Having faith and strength,

Will help us cope.
