I haven´t written in like forever, but I felt the need to post this story. It is pretty short. I don´t think I´m able to write anymore, or maybe it´s just a real bad writer´s block. Anyway, please review!

It happened on a nice, warm day in march. The winter had finally said goodbye and spring was coming to town. People were passing in front of my window. I watched them like I often did when it was warm. They were tall or small, thin or thick, alone or with someone but they all had one thing in common; they were happy. After this long hard winter everybody was glad just to go out with a light jacket and not with scarf. That´s spring´, I thought and sighed. Just watching got me bored and I decided to go out myself. I put on my new sweater which Ihad bought for the warmer days of the year.

Outside, I took tiny slow steps and took in all my surroundings. Birds were singing happily, the trees were sparkling green, and the air full of flowers. After some time I came to one of my favorite places; an old playground. Here had happened half of my childhood. My first fist fight, my first broken arm, my first kiss. Great memories. Today there were even some people. A father and his four kids. The kids were pretty young, one of them seemed to be just a bit younger than myself though. They were playing soccer. I couldn´t help myself but watched them. Since I knew that place by heart, I walked over to a tree and sat in it. I had done that often when we´d played hide and seek, I had never been found but I had a great view from there.

Then it happened: a black woman, about thirty, with her little son. He was about five years old. He looked really cute. His hair was lightly curly and had a wonderful dark brown color which fitted perfectly with his semi brown skin. The woman herself was pretty too. She wore a beautiful blue dress with little flowers on it. My sister had one similiar to it. When the little boy saw the playing, he looked up at his mother and gave her a toothy – he hardly had teeth in his mouth – grin. She smiled at him as if giving him permission. He let his teddy fall to the ground and ran towards the family. The mother picked up the teddy and was already preparing to sit on the bench whn she heard the father say something. “What do you think you´re doing here?â€
