A/N: Tonight I broke down at a play rehearsal. It was good fun. I can’t stand our director, she’s being a Nazi about everything… sometimes I just want to throttle her. Whatever. For Martina, who understands, and who helped me stay on my feet tonight even when I was crawling on the floor.

Our Town

Step, turn

Wave, breath

Speak, scream

Laugh, cry

Hate, love

Live, die

STOP!

Why?

Everything changes

Now

Everything changes

Run, walk

Ache, heal

Sweat, freeze

Stand, kneel

I don’t know why

I can’t do it

No

I can’t do it

Loud, loud

More, more

Push, push

Hot Tears

Dead hopes

Lost fears

PERFECT!

Just what we wanted

You’re

Just what we wanted

Step, turn

Fire, burn

Yell, scream

No dream

As real

Just feel

So much better

That’s s

So much better

To the letter

Come back tomorrow

And watch

AsI fall down

In Our Town
