Pandora’s Box

Life

Beautiful life

Promising life

Painful life

Filled with lies

No tangible container was felt

Nor seen

Yet for sure it was there

It saw the foolish mistakes

Of reckless youth

Who were not the first to fall

Under it’s watchful eye

So many choices to make

So many roads ahead

But by some twisted fate

Some take the wrong one

A promising life

Holds nothing more

When Pandora’s Box is opened

Life

Filled with tears

No joy, only pain

Endless failure

A life of tragedy

Drowning in despair

The sorrows and the lies

Stacked upon frail shoulders

Stacked upon these unlucky souls

Weighting them down

There is no escape

No way out

Another life lost

To this unworthy cause

They are gone to far

When Pandora’s Box is opened
