Secrets. The desert allows for that.
how in New York or London it cannot be hidden.
Results of having huge squares and video-taped streets.
Only ancient cities.
unquestioned because even the questions themselves are silent.
Deep into Tombs or Jeweled wells,
every protesting student burned effigies
displayed like bombed cities from a B-17.

The Desert allows for it. That bred-in Hate.
even if we hate and hate is perfectly fine,
how else would decadent World Orders be shaken?
Respecting the differences in Hate:
any other Word would disprove the theory. So
