wind rolls across eagle's back

sunlight sweetens grass

pines whisper far away

of snow's mountainous mass

waters calm and rocks still

clouds fill vaulted skies

green ardent lushness far below

witness lone eagle's cries

misty valleys and dwarfing heights

velvet green folds engrace

mirrored all in silver thrall

on water's chiaroscurous face
