Dragon eyes and demon dreams

Reality is what is seems

A riddle dancing in your brain

Whispering of gentle pain

You put your faith into you eyes

Joyous and accept true lies

Catch the tiger by the tail

Ripping you with tooth and nail

In every darkness shines a light

On every rose there is a thorn

After every sunshine comes the night

In every heaven evil’s born

I can’t deny what lies within

That would be my eternal sin

Softened readings of the word

Never saved a life I’ve heard

Hell is what you make of it

Heaven isn’t brightly lit

Follow me the way between

Where angels walk and devils sing

Best you keep the path in sight

Or right is wrong and wrong is right

Or is it that they’re both the same?

Confused? It’s not me to blame

You’ve walked the monochrome path so long

Living color just seems wrong

Just wait until you see the night….

When moonshine is your only light

Through dragon eyes I see it all

Chains of ignorance, society’s thrall

With demon dreams I know how it could be

But is it Eden reborn…or Hades I see?
