The Mole

I am a Mole; I'm out of my hole

I jump I shout I scurry about

It's white it's cold, oh were do I go

I jump I fall I hit something slick

It's white, it's cold I can't find my hole

Oh woe it is to be a mole

I hear a bark out in the dark

I jump I scream, I land on my spleen

I fall into a hole and down I go

I bounce off the ground and keep falling down

I am a mole, and I'm in my hole

I'm safe and sound under the ground

But I'm battered and bruised and beginning to ooze

Oh woe to me I cannot see

It really hurts to be a mole.
