My Friends

You defend your sister before your friends.

One wrong and we break apart.

You always think about yourself,

Your family,

Your friends…

In that order.

You tell me not to cry

Even though you’re the one that hurt me.

You tell me you’ll be there,

Then you refuse to talk to me,

Nore will you trust me with your problems

As you did before.

You tell me when, where, what

And tell me

You won’t let me down….

Then you do….

You tell me I’m not good enough,

But then you say you’re not good enough either;

An insult to our friendship.

You say I’m your best friend,

The you turn around and tell the principal

I want to hurt you.

You tell everyone you have no friends.

You want no friends.

Your friends have abandoned you…

When you’ve abandoned them.

Now you wish you had them…

You’re alone…

Silently I laugh at my misfortune

Wondering if you people are the

Friends

You say you are.

Or maybe it’s just society that hates me.
