Heartbreak

I have never experienced heartbreak in my life, but this is what I saw through the eyes of another.

How ever can I tell you,

How much you mean to me

When all you see is the outside,

The shell that protects the seed.

The girl inside is different,

Vulnerable and weak

Like a hidden seed in winter,

It is the side of me you seek.

You never meant it did you?

It was all just a dare.

Did you ever stop to think

How you left my heart so bare?
