Another poem… Written around the same time as the last one but revised a few times. The first few lines were inspired by a song.

You've got your harlem

Your protection

You can go so high and

leave me behind

I won't be searching

the skies for you after today

This bitter wine has stolen me away

The right now is later

The later is never

The never is laughter

I see your face in the moth's wings

I hear your footsteps in the silliest things

1 Still suspended, Olympian

Forgiven, not forgotten
