Kevin woke up in a prairie. The sky was clear and the temple was nowhere to be seen. Trinity was laid a few feet across from him and Athar was walking around aimlessly. What had happened? Kevin thought. Did the temple disappear along with the forest? Kevin got up and walked over to Trinity and shook her gently. When she woke she seemed as confused as Kevin. Trinity got on to her feet.

"I guess we should keep moving," she said.

"To where?" Kevin said frustrated of being lost. But Kevin did have a point. There was nothing but grass North, South, West and East. Trinity walked over to Athar and checked his wing.

"Athar's wing is better, we can fly out of this grassland," Trinity suggested.

Kevin agreed and then asked, "which direction?" Trinity pointed north. "Okay, lets go." They got on to Athar's back and they soared into the air.

It took days to cross over the everlasting prairie. Kevin and Trinity took that time to get to know each other. Now they were out of the prairie and were fly over another forest. But this forest was different from the last one they were in. It had an eerie dark glow around it. Athar was getting tired and it was also starting to get dark. So they had no other choice but to land in what was called Death Forest.

After trudging through the dark forest, they finally found a nice campsite area. Kevin decided to get some firewood, but Trinity didn't want to be left alone.

"Don't go," Trinity pleaded.

"I'm just going to get some firewood Trinity," Kevin replied. "I'll be right back."

Trinity ran up to him and tugged on right arm. "This place is really scary and I don't want to be left alone."

Kevin thought for a moment and was about to give in to Trinity's pleads, but suddenly there was a noise in the background. Trinity's grip on Kevin's arm tightened. A few leaves fell to the ground a couple of feet away from them. Athar got up from his resting place and started to growl at the fallen leaves. Something long black and scaly burst out of the bushes. It was Death in the form of a snake. It had two sharp fangs that were about three feet long, it's body was at least twenty feet long.

"Run!" Kevin yelled. All three of them started to run into the deep forest with Death close behind.

"Kevin!" Trinity yelled. "We can't outrun it!"

"Then will just have to fly out of here!" Kevin yelled back.

"But Kevin Athar is to tired to fly!" Suddenly Athar abruptly stopped, causing Kevin and Trinity to almost collide into him. He threw his head back and a path of flame flew from his mouth. The fire surrounded the snake's body for a moment then faded out. The Death snake cried out in pain and severely burnt the snake retreated back into the forest.

"Wow," Trinity said. "I didn't know he could do that."

"Hey look Trinity," Kevin exclaimed as he squeezed between two trees. Before him was a huge city filled with people. Trinity and Athar came out of the forest and Trinity gasped when she saw the huge village in front of her.

"Can we look around?" Trinity inquired.

"Sure but we can't stay here too long," Kevin retorted. Trinity muttered a quick okay and ran into the city to look around, leaving Kevin in the dust. Kevin pulled the Athar's reins and followed Trinity. After constantly walking for few minutes, Trinity walked into a flower shop. Kevin finally got a chance to catch up. The store was filled with different kinds of flowers. The flowers made the story smell sweet. Trinity was staring at the roses. Trinity turned around and signaled for Kevin to come there.

"Come smell the roses," she said. Kevin strolled over to her and smelled one of the roses.

"They smell nice," he commented.

"Young girl," the old woman at the counter said. "Do you like roses?"

"Yes, I do," Trinity replied.

"Well then, what do you think of this one?" the old woman said as she held up a black rose.

"Wow!" Trinity squealed. She jogged towards the counter to get a closer look. The old woman grinned and handed her the rose. When Trinity took the rose from her wrinkled hands, she pricked herself on one off the thorns. Trinity had a small red spot on her pointer finger on the left hand.

"Are you okay deary? You have to be careful. Even a rose has its thorns," the old woman said almost gleefully. The old woman stared at Trinity with odd black eyes. Something was amiss but Trinity didn't have enough time to think of it.

"Let's go Trinity, " Kevin said. They had to keep moving and didn't have enough time for long breaks. Reluctantly, Trinity followed him to the exit.

After about an hour of walking through the city, Trinity began to feel a little dizzy. In time the wooziness made it harder and harder for her to concentrate. She soon lost her balance and headed strait for the ground. Kevin caught her before she hit the ground.

"Are you okay Trinity?" Kevin asked hastily.

"I don't know. I .I ." She stopped in mid-sentence. Her eyes grew wide as if she just realized something. "Kevin I know what's wrong with me. It was the." But before she could finish she passed out.
