The Universes and Multiverses' times were completely circular. None
knew how any of them started, or which was the first or anything, simply
because there WAS no beginning. That had been left visible or detectable,
anyway. One Universe was born out of the next, on and on in concentric
rings, and although no Mortal could survive the Skip between Multiverses,
many of the Immortals could. And there, the same pattern was found. One
Multiverse was born out of the next, and after you traveled long enough you
could come back to the one you started at. But there were Branchings
everywhere, and there were always more than anyone could ever hope to get
to.
Even with an Aleph-Null Infinite Set lifespan, there were just too
many of them. It was an Aleph-Eins Infinite Set of spaces and times.
Nondenumerable, just like what your people call the Real Numbers.
It's all the fault of the Transcedentals.
