Author's Note:

Another bit of poetry...based on a single white honeysuckle that grew with all the pink ones in the field in front of my house, years ago. For some reason, I was thinking about it, and this is what came to mind.
And of course, once again this poem is entirely mine...dubious honor as that my be. =^_~=

Albino White
LH-chan '02

My eye is drawn to a flower,
albino white.
In a field of pink, stands out,
even in the night.

I look upon that flower,
and in my mind's eye I see...
Strangely, somehow,
that flower is me.
Like the piece of foil glitter,
floating in an endless blue sea.

Within something,
but not quite a part.
A difference that leaves,
these scars on my heart.
