My parents aren't really parents.

No, I'm dead serious.

They're more like devils from hell,

to me they're deleterious.

They are overbearing,

Pressuring me to the point of exhaustion.

It's very difficult to be smart,

too hard to give them satisfaction.

Always making me to do this,

never letting me quit that.

Whenever I argue, their faces are made of stone,

I always lose in mental combat.

They give me almost no privacy,

monitoring my use on the computer every day.

I can't even close the door,

they fear I'm on the Internet and wandering "astray".

But still I love them,

Giving them my devoted time.

To me they're still mentors,

I think they're really sublime.

Moral: Everything in life has a good and bad side.
