I know people say it’s ok to cry,

But is it ok to lie?

To keep your feelings hidden inside,

With a fake smile and your sorrow denied?

I try not to think of the painful moments,

But sometimes I just can’t keep all this silence.

The memories float around me like a nightmare,

And truthfully, good dreams can be found elsewhere.

A hole has been carved deep in my heart,

And will never be filled until I depart.

I’m so sorry for every time I acted like a buffoon,

I didn’t know your funeral would be so soon.

One day we’re laughing and playing around,

And the next day my face is being drowned.

Drowned by tears of sadness and everlasting pain,

Your grave is being marked daily by my tearstain.
