The Autobiography Of My Beliefs
By Mac Brown
This poem isn't something,
That you may want to read,
Because it talks a lot about,
The God in which I believe.
I use to believe in God,
As a person not unlike you or me,
Until I thought about it,
And realized I was being silly.
I pondered long and hard about it,
And discovered what I really thought,
My new beliefs are in this poem,
I have turned them into this amazing plot.
I think that there is a God,
But he isn't a person living above,
He just pushes us in the right direction,
By giving us a gentle shove.
He floats around in everyone,
As if we are all greatly infected,
And since he lives inside all of us,
Everyone is somehow connected.
