I feel myself slipping back
Back into familiar, calming waters
Waters that cleanse with blood and pain
The only way to be clean
Be punished for your sins
Especially the biggest sin of all
Not being perfect
When I'm out of the water
It calls to me
Beckoning me back into it
So inviting
You dive back in
Forgetting that the water can be deadly
You will drown in it
You don't care
You want to swim
Be surrounded and comforted by the water
Though its deadly
Its your haven
Your getaway from life
It may cause the end of it
But while you are living
It is your sweet, silent solace
You can't leave it
And you won't
