Pepperoni Pizza

Welcome to…

Pizzeriaville

You will have

A scrumptious day

The luscious smell of pizza

Wafts over to your nose

And leads you

Towards the source

Pepperoni nestles

In the melted mozzarella

You can feel your mouth watering

In the sweet anticipation

Remembered pizza flavor

Tantalizes your taste buds

You know the cheese will meld

With the spicy pepperoni

You can almost hear the sound

Of a softly calling pizza

Is it your imagination?

You can’t wait to take a bite

Slowly pull the slice away

From all its gooey friends

Cheese stretches and then snaps

And you slowly take a bite

Cheesy pizza flavor

Ties your taste buds up in pleasure

The enticing aroma of toppings

Gradually puts you in its thrall

Although it would never admit it

Pizza is a groupie

Its cheesy fingers reach out

To hold hands with its buddies

WARNING:

Repeated consumption of pizza

May result in a desire

To eat nothing else
