Broken Windows And Roman History

And here!
I am confusing Cato and Cicero
Once more…
(and here) I sit,
deserving less than
Catiline: the calm has broken into
Refracting pieces of
Light and past.

The Triumvirate hesitates
On my front lawn
Among the shattered
Glass; the
Coming dread of
Barking dogs and returning
Soldiers. I am too
Late; the Rubicon has already been
Crossed (and
Here) Aeroplanes are
Rewriting the
History of the World as the
Sky returns to its
Sort-of-twilight.

If Ovid and
Virgil do not
Remove themselves from my kitchen soon,
Mother shall be
Displeased.

(and here) It is all some form of banishment really,
In the end,
