Nobody wants to be lonely
and walk all by themselves.
No one wants to be alone
and not be able to relate to someone else.

No one wants to cry puddles of tears
and have only air to hold
when they reach for somebody elses,
and realise it's just the wind; blowing and cold.

Searching but running with time
and never second guessing if they should be mine.
Creating my own rhythm
becoming a lonely hunter, and never knowing why.

No one wants to ever cry
so hard by themselves in a corner.
Nobody wants to pity themselves
so badly it's become a life destroyer.

A room of tears
and an empty soul.
Eyes so soar;
a heart that will no longer go.

No more nails;
they've been bitten to shreds.
Unfortunate angry thoughts
of wonder to be dead.

Watered eyes;
distant soul.
A path we travel;
the way the lonely hunters go.

Seeking and hoping
to find somebody there.
Somebody who can be with us
somebody who will honestly care.

A lonely hunter
must solemnly swear,
to never just date somebody
for whom they don't really care.

Running a path
with tears in my eyes.
Hoping to trip and be caught
by somebody who can make me stop my lonely cry.
