Rage.
How I love that word.
It smells of anger
It tastes of violence
Reminds me of fire -
And I possess it.

I embrace the rage.
I find it welcoming
Comfortable and cosy.

Rage.
How I thrive on it.
It keeps me safe
It helps me cope
Reminds me of fire -
And I possess it.

The anger keeps me alive.
It's almost like a drug
I cannot get enough.

Rage.
I feed off of it.
It keeps me satisfied
It keeps me full
Reminds me of fire -
And I possess it.

The hatred inspires me.
It's as if it is my idol
I worship and embrace it.

Rage.
It helps me survive.
It burns all who touch
I can smell their flesh
Reminds me of fire -
And I possess it.

The rage is my ally.
It's like my shining light
Guiding me through life.

Rage.
I thrive on it.
I feed off of it.
It helps me survive.
Reminds me of red, burning flames -
And I use it to my advantage.

So? What do you think? Opinions, please! I'm not too sure if I like it or not, but it was begging to be written. I will accept good reviews and/or constructive criticism (but I much prefer good reviews, they're nicer), but I will NOT accept flames.

For once, I can sort of relate to this poem. Well, okay, I don't live in anger and rage all the time, but there are times when you have to let it all out, you know? But don't get me wrong, I do believe in happiness, too. Life would be pretty boring without anger to balance out the happiness. So, before I get flamed, I am not trying to bash those who seem to be happy all the time. Everyone gets angry sometimes, some more than others. You live your life how YOU want, and I'll respect you for it. The only thing I don't like is when people pretend to be happy. If you aren't feeling fine and dandy, it's okay to tell someone how you feel.
