Why do you let her do that

Taint your voice the way she does

You sound so beautiful singing alone

Her voice is ugly

Off pitch and out of key

Covering yours with sores and silence

She kills them

She tortures our songs

She fails to mingle peacefully in our harmony

In our words

These songs we’ve sung so long

Her voice murders the beauty like jealousy

So why do you let her do it

Taint your voice with her own

You sound so beautiful singing alone
