Wolves

They were laughing at me for
Befriending a girl who was lonely.
I was being tormented by
People; wolves.
But I got through and
Now I'm here, a million miles away,
Where I can bury it,
Under the colorful rocks or the west
-Wondering why another girl
Cried, when we were paired
For some team sport-
I chunked that resurrected memory
To my wolves in later times,
And Let them rip her heartless self
To bits, so I could feel better
Hearing their insults rip her,
In the desert
A million miles away from
Her, where the
Red sunset looks like spilt blood;
And while many nameless tombstones
Mark other deep holes
That stand
Empty.
