Everyday I wear a mask to please my teachers and my peers.
And though they try, my parents can never understand my fears.
The fear of being snubbed, of making a bad grade.
Of losing a good friendship, as yet another one is made.
So I erect a wall of hopes and fears and dreams.
And nothing that I say is ever as it seems.
I'll say I got an 'A' when it really was a 'B.'
If you know and understand this fact, you know the source of me.
So when I hide behind my wall, don't give up your hope.
Help me climb up to the sky by giving me some rope.
As you slowly save my life and save me from the fall,
Please keep in mind my mask is all that I recall.

A.N. So, another of my strange poems finds it's way to FF.N. I'm not sure when I wrote this one, I found it on a piece of scratch paper in my room the other day and edited it and now here it is! Well, I hope you enjoyed it! Please R&R!
