Just another obsolete person

In a sea of lost souls

Continuing on their obsolete paths

Everyday and every night

Can’t stand it.

Stuck in Suburbia
Alone without a ray

A ray of golden light

To lead me out

Can’t stand it.

The sand is slipping

Through my fingers

Away from me forever

Never coming back

Can’t stand it.

I call out for help

Save me from myself

No one hears me

Deaf ears are all there is

Can’t stand it.

The winds blows past me

Carrying destiny

Upon its gossamer wings

Away from it all

Can’t stand it.

Chase it

Catch it

Wrap my arms around it

Tightly in an embrace

Can’t stand it.

Can’t hold on

The wings slip away

Far away from me

Abandoning, leaving

Can’t stand it.

What of me?

This obsolete being

Among that endless sea of lost souls

So weak, crying

Can’t stand it.

Let the red ambrosia flow

Shining on the metal blade

Glowing crimson in my tears

Running with the faerie wings

Can I stand it now?

I can still feel the pain.

The sorrow, the hopelessness

Can I stand it?

No, but I’ll live with it.

Read, review. Yea – not in the greatest mood right now but you get the drift. And yes, it’s referring to suicide but I’m not considering it. It’s symbolism, people.
