Spoke the Liar

"Who are you?"
Spoke the liar
The killer
The cheater
To the light
In brightness lost
"Why do you shine?
Still, even now?"
It did not speak
For light cannot
But the wind whispered
Of secrets
True at first
Then less so
"The light shines
Forever here
Forever brighter.
For a lie told
Has rightful cause
A cheat sneaked
Has many results
And the dead made
Are only sleeping."

A/N:
This is yet another poem I was thinking about using for the Gods and Goddesses competition which, obviously, I didn't use. And once again, I didn't feel it fit the topic.
I don't know what else to say about this one, so if you have any questions just ask!
Thanks for Reading! Please Review, too!
Arrivederci!
