A/N: this is the poem that I have been working on. It’s to say good-bye to Mr. Levay; my seventh grade social studies teacher. I’d appreciate it if you guys don’t flame on it.
**********************************************************************************************************
Now that you’re gone,
I don’t know what to say.
I’ve been through this before…
And it stays with me day-by-day.
I’ve had people go before,
But it is now that I see
How hard it actually can be.
I’m not the only one who suffers.
All my classmates feel the same as me.
It’s hard to deal with life,
When it is you I always see.
I cry myself to sleep at night,
Wondering why this had to happen.
You were young and energetic,
And you made learning seem so fun.
You’ve now passed on to better things,
But it is now that I realize,
I never got to say ‘good- bye’.
But its never too late you see,
To say something that means so much to me.
So it is now I say good bye to you.
With my heart and emotions
All sorted out.
Now at night I will see your face,
And say good bye to you.
And I hope you realize,
That my heart is in the right place.
For it is never too late you see,
To say something that means so much to me…

A/N: so how’d you all like it? Once again, please no flames. I’d appreciate it if I got a positive reaction to this poem.
Bye for now.
Read my other poem and read my story too!
