A/N: this is poem that I wrote at 1am this morning. I call it "A place to Hide" because it’s about running away from everything, and hiding, because you were too afraid to face these things. But in the end, you realize that running away makes no difference, because they will always catch you up.
**********************************************************************************************************
My mind is spinning round and round,
I don’t know where to go.
I must find a place to hide,
So all these fears will never show.
I’m torn in two,
I must find a place to hide.
My mind shouts out to turn to shadow,
Yet my heart says to stay in the light.
And I’m afraid to say, that my mind is losing the fight.
It would be easier to hide in shadow,
Than to face these fears in the light.
But face these fears I must,
Before it is all too late.
For if time runs out,
I would have withered away,
Trying to hide from those fears
That I just would not say…
So I will go and meet those fears along the way,
Instead of hiding from those things I will not say.
And in the end, I will laugh:
For it is I that would have won over those fears,
And yet this never-ending battle, has just begun…
