Utopia

There’s a kingdom far away

Lost in a wreath of clouds;

And a silver knight rides a crystal horse

To slay the evil kind

Here we can find our way

And live the life of fantasy.

It’s where the battle is won and light is found

To melt the night away.

And there a dream becomes reality

Where wishes are granted and miracles seen.

Trouble lies behind every door,

But adventure is better than times before.

And here

We can be heroes,

And ask all the questions.

We can wonder where to go,

And who we are.

We can have freedom;

Let our souls fly.

We’ll never lose our way,

Nor run out of time.

The clouds have silver lining,

And pictures never fade.

The ravage of age is lost to the world

As everything stands still.

There’s never a starless night

Nor a dreary winter day.

It’s where the sun and the moon above the earth

Move in harmony.

The wall that protects is never broken down,

And words of hate are never given life.

And even in the heat of battle

Honour is preserved.

We can be heroes,

And ask all the questions.

We can wonder where to go,

And who we are.

We can have freedom;

Let our souls fly.

We’ll never lose our way,

Nor run out of time.

There’s no one to tell us

How to think or speak.

There are no chains to hold us back

Or keep us in line.

We can have freedom;

Let our souls fly.

We’ll never lose our way,

As night fades into day,

And we’ll never run away

In this time.
