How could it be a year already?

Our lives stopped for that day

Moving half the world to tears

Every American was wounded to

Our very souls, staring in disbelief

Fire fighters, police officers

The best of us, our

Heros

Each and every one

Beyond the call. From the

Ruble and

Ashes

Victory

Emerges

Gone

Our feeling of safety

Danger seemed to lurk

But we united

Love of our country waved from

Every doorstep

Seems like only yesterday

Seattle to Miami

Albany to San Diego

May we stand

Ever free

Righteous

In our pride

Continuous in our faith of our

America
