Black and White By: Morwen

I'm told the world is black and white,

but has it's shades of grey.

I try to know this, understand,

yet can't see what they say.

There's red and green and gold and blue,

and still others I can't name;

While others overlook this world,

I will not do the same.

Good and evil; love and hate;

all opposites , that's true,

But what about sad and depressed,

those just seem more blue.

Red can show so many things,

including like and anger,

While happy can be anything,

it's up to you, me, and the stranger.

So when you look around this world,

and just see black and white,

Close your eyes and try to see

things in a different light.

For the colors of our universe,

so beautiful and bright,

Stem far beyond the shades of grey,

between the black and white.

A.N. Hey y'all. I hope you enjoyed this one. It just kinda came to me a few nights ago. I'm proud about how it turned out. Hasta! ~Morwen and her amused muse, Dae
