Clover’s note: This poem was not taken from anyone else.  Before you completely ditch it, consider this, this poem was written from the bottom of my heart It may not rhyme, but… The song “Voices” from “Macross Plus” and  “Adesso e Fortuna” from “Record of Lodoss War.” Inspired this poem. And this is also dedicated to anyone and everyone who reads this.  I guess it could also be a best friend poem!

Waterfarie, this one is also for you, Shley, Matt, and Claire!  You guys were my first best buds and you helped me and were always there for me during the hard times!  (And also for my new friends: anyone from my 8th grade homeroom, six flags, and yes, the bus!  Oh yeah! And my new online friends too!)

Reunion

Hello there stranger,

Oh, but wait…

You’re not that strange at all,

In fact, you’re pretty ordinary

And I know we’ve met before.

I can remember our first meet,

And everything from that point on,

I can remember your last smile,

And your last words,

And then I remember how you had gone.

You left without words being said,

You left without a trace,

And yet as I look upon today,

You’re here back again.

So now the time has finally come,

To say our goodbye’s,

Now we can both move on,

In and with our lives.

So before you go again,

I ask that you do this,

Remember me as I’ll remember you

And I hope we meet again.
