"They look so happy," Mrs. said, patting her husbands hand.
Amaya saw the exchange between her parents and tried not to laugh. They had been flabbergasted when they had gotten here and found out everything she had done and how she had embraced her craft. Her mom loved the bookstore and her father had a long walk through the new house with Skye to make sure that it was good enough to house his daughter, which of course it was.
"Would you stop staring at them?" Skye laughed as he pulled her closer behind the counter.
She threw a carrot at him and finally looked away, smiling up at him. "I'm not staring, I'm just making sure that they are comfortable."
"I think that if they weren't they'd have gone home already."
She nodded. "Yeah, they would have."
His parents were fine. They got on well with Amayas parents. There was no worry in that department. The mothers had already exchanged new ways to use their witchery and little anecdotes about the past.
Shaking his head, Skye took her hand and led her out the back door.
"What are you doing? We can't just leave!"
Laughing, he led her farther into the night. "Sure we can. I haven't had a private moment with you since we got married."
Their wedding had been beautiful. They had it in the center of town with white flowers and ribbons everywhere. The whole town had pitched in to decorate and everyone had been in attendance. Amaya had often dreamed of a large wedding in a cathedral, but this had been better then that. Much better.
She stopped him from walking and wrapped her arms around him, resting her cheek against his chest and letting his warmth seep into her.
"I love you, Skye Harrington."
"And I you, Mrs. Amaya Harrington."
She knew that at some other stage in her life she would have felt wrong leaving her family to go with a strange man into the woods, but that was then and this was now.
"Our kids might get the craft passed on to them. What do you think about having kids like that?" she asked him, laughing as she stared at the stars about.
"I think that they'll fit well in this town."
They laughed together and watched as the full moon settled above them.
The End
a/n: Okay, well, that's the end. I hope ya'll liked it. It was short, but I meant the story to be that way. Anyway, thanks for all your support and encouragement!
