Ryokan I-:-Introducing the Tsukai Sister’s, Mistresses of Ryokan
Narrator: A story of the Tsukai sisters, each of them ever so different from the other in their own way, and this is how their story begins…
﹏﹏﹏
Coldness wrapped around the arms and body of a woman around her late teens, her light brown hair in a low ponytail. She sat in front of the sliding door inside the inn… her dark brown eyes waiting ever so patiently for any customers that happened to drop by. She has been waiting for someone to come by for the past 3 years now, but the inn seemed dead… well *almost* dead, since she lived with 4 other sisters and they were anything BUT dead…
“Are you gonna stay there all day, Reia?” the second to youngest sister said with toast in her mouth, munching happily heading for the stairs. Reia didn’t respond and sat staring at the door.
“Kaira!” another woman appeared with an apron, holding a broom in one hand. Kaira turned around, her dark hair brushing her face when she did so. She wiped her mouth of any remaining breadcrumbs with her arm, she was the second to youngest, “Hm?” she replied. The woman gave a disgusted look on her young face, “your leaving breadcrumbs all over the floor!” she waved her finger in front of Kaira, “and do you know who cleans the mess?”
“You” Kaira replied dully.
“YES! ME!” and gave a long hard look at her sister and then swept, leaving Kaira to go upstairs to her room with no guilt.
This was all happening inside the Tsukai residence. Yelling and annoyance usually swept through this house… or rather this inn. Reia the oldest child of Takaou, the child that has promised to keep the family business going with her 4 other sisters, when her father would passed on and in fact Takaou-Sama did, it had been 3 years now… and not a single soul stepped inside the house, to rent a room in this inn. For 3 years… and thus Reia was hoping maybe one day someone would pass by and rent one. That would be the day the oldest child of Takaou would regain consciousness and become happy… but until then she was stuck with her insane sisters…
“Reia? I… uh…” Reia’s sister began, her broom still on one hand, “…Reia…” she whispered. “Move!!!” she kicked her sister and made her fall on the floor, in the same crossed legged position she had before, she seemed like a statue.
“If you’re not going to clean this place at least move your butt so I can!” she yelled. She was always the person who did everything in the inn, she cooked and cleaned, she was a very ‘neat freak’ as one might say… and would burst with anger when things took to long…
“Please insolents, can you guys keep the noise down? I am trying to read the part when Tony is telling the kid that he is his father,” a girl just suddenly walked by her sisters. This was Leia the ‘book worm’, she was only 16 and was in her forth year of high school…
Maira gripped her broom tightly; if they were something that really ticked her of it was people not giving her not enough respect (especially her sisters, since she considered herself the oldest even though she was the second oldest, but she saw it as if she did more than anybody else did). Oh, and dust.
A girl with long brown hair slid across the room unexpectedly in just a T-shirt, socks and sunglasses (and of course her underclothes).
“Why don’t you take me to funky town~~~~!!!” the girl sang from the top of her lungs and started the moon walk or at least ‘tried’, she then took Maira’s hands and swung her around and started to sing once again, “…well I talk about it, talk about it, about it, talk about it~~~” she then let go and lifted her motionless sister, Reia and started shaking her shoulders, “talk about MOVIN’~~~ gotta move on, gotta move on, gotta move on!!! TAKE ME TO FUNKY TOWN!~~~”
“Aiya!!!” Kaira yelled.
Aiya stopped and gently pulled her sunglasses off reveling light honey colored eyes… “what?” she asked clueless, she had let go of her sister whom landed on the floor with a thud and resumed being motionless. Aiya was the type of girl that was so energetic and lived every moment to its fullest and she believed in this since she was young, the youngest of all her sisters. 14. Her dream was to travel all over the world, but mainly to America. She was so obsessed with Americans. Her sisters would tease her about this, every time an American showed on the television the would point at him and yell out that that was the loser that Aiya likes and this would start a chain reaction of insults between them…
“Well who is gonna take me to funky town?” she asked innocently.
Maira arched her eyebrow, she didn’t know if this ‘funky town’ was a name for something… else… or if it was really a town. “What is a ‘funky town’?” she asked, curious now.
“C’mon sis, like get into the groove!” she waved her hands easily as if it was like a river.
“Groove?” Maira mouthed, she didn’t know how could to possibly can get inside the groove.
Aiya continued, “Funky town is one of the greatest places in America!”
“Oh you and America, you should marry it” Maira sighed.
“No, but you don’t understand Neesan!” she said grabbing her sister, whom was ignoring her by sweeping up the wooden floor, “In funky town…everything is… so…funky!” she exclaimed excitedly. Maira stopped sweeping and looked up to her baby sister’s face, “Thanks for clearing that up for me” she said sarcastically. Aiya sighed in defeat. ‘They’ll never understand…’

Narrator: Things like this happen all the time in Ryokan, and yet the motionless Reia remains…motionless ^^; :::sighs::: life seems so ordinary at times, don’t you agree? However, sometimes you have to make it interesting and if you can’t, unexpectedly someone else will … um, err… at least that’s what happen to the Tsukai sisters…

Author’s Note: Well? Y’know how some things are funny to you? Well at some parts, it was funny to me, and you gotta picture it as an anime…so…um yeah, NEwayz… next chappie will be better… I hope… I need LOTS OF ENCOURAGEMENT…more than before! REVIEWS!!!!!! :::sniffles::: pwease?
