NEVER FORGET

Never forget the memory

Of the most horrid act in our history.

Forgive, and rebuild, but never forget,

The horror, the sorrows, the tears that were shed.

Hate them, hate me.

Put the blame on whomever you wish it to be.

But, always retain

The feeling of heart wrenching pain.

My heart weeps for the souls

That the terrorists stole

Blood red drops of liquid hurt,

Raining over the charred and burnt.

My mind is torn with sadness

Can’t we stop this madness?

Washing away blood with blood,

The persuasive words are ground into the mud.

No one listens, no one cares,

Slipping deeper into the monster’s lair.

But still, what ever happens, never forget

The day the ultimate level of horror was met.

~I pray for those lost on 9-11….~

**Inspired by the one year anniversary of the World Trade Center Incident……

Never Forget!**
