White Shadow

A/N: Wow, no Standard disclaimer. This is an original work born when I was bored in World Lit. This poem is dedicated to Gwenthyfaer who though at times more right than I care to admit is closer to than any other person I have known. Gwen, no matter where you are I'll see again; until then I miss you come home, darling.

White Shadow

Silence in my mind

Your phantom voice is gone

Are the words

In your stead

Just another delusion

Where have you gone my twisted muse?

My cunning knight.

Where do you wander, wicked sorceress of my mind?

Do you roam in the dream realms,

You so long ago helped me to see?

Or are you lost somewhere,

Where my words and rhythm have to power?

Do you fly free in dreams?

Are you chained in nightmares?

Wait for me my, wicked one

My darker half forever.

One day I will meet you in one realm

And once more we will be together.
