The Crow

by Luinthoron

In the darkness where there is no sun
A black crow enters my room...
My life hasn't even begun -
Why should it end so soon?

I haven't learned a thing
In the years that were given to me.
The important things I've been missing -
Do I have now to let them be?

The family I wanted to have -
Will it only remain a dream?
With thoughts like that in my head
I finally start to scream.

The crow then opens its beak:
"I'm not here to take your soul!
I'm just here to remind you of me
So you would live your life like you should!"

And in the morning when I wake
A new life starts for me.
I can take my dreams and make
With some work every one of them real!
