If I could change the world

I do not need to write “what ifs”

I can change the world

And who am I?

I am the new day

I am the dawn of a bright future that has not yet come to pass

For the darkness of night has not yet faded

I am tomorrow

And once the night ends,

I will be the first rays of dawn over the horizon

For I will make the world a new and better place

This task is not borne by me alone

There are others of tomorrow’s generation

My generation

That share the same bright hope as I

We are the children of the future,

And the world is ours to renew

We are tomorrow’s leaders

We are the scientists, the doctors, the teachers

We, the children, are the explorers, the inventors, and the dreamers

The future of the entire world is in our hands, all of us

All of us, the dreamers, the hopefuls,

Every single one of us can make a difference

It is our duty, our obligation, though some of us might not yet know it

I will change the world

I will make a difference

I am the wave of the future

I am science, I am technology,

All racing towards new breakthroughs, new hopes, new possibilities

It will not be possible without me, and others like me
