Wondering why…

Sometimes I have to wonder why,

Why I must go through this every day.

I don't really want to be here,

And sometimes I wonder why I stay.

Everything is so confusing.

I don't know where I am.

And late at night I wonder why,

Why I am forced to stay.

I don't know these people anymore,

The people I once knew so well.

And sometimes I wonder why,

Why these people have to change for the worst,

When I liked them, just the way they were…

Staying here is just so hard,

Especially when I want to leave.

But since there is no way to escape,

I must stay here,

Maybe this was meant to be…

Now that I have thought everything through,

I have come to the conclusion

There is nothing I could do.

So I will sit and wait

For the opportunity of escape.

And I will still sit and wonder why,

Why all this wondering is making me begin to cry…
