It has been three years.

Since that day.

You would think the pain would just go away.

I still have trouble breathing sometimes.

No longer listen to the church bells and chimes.

Why won't you speak they all ask they all say.

Stop bothering me you don't know what happened that day.

What would you do if it had happened to you.

Would you cry, or scream, or wish it away?

Would you tell someone, you would wouldn't you?

That's how I know it never happened to you.

You don't know the pain.

Your tears have never fallen down like rain.

To form a puddle at your feet.

For people to walk all over as they walk down the street.

So don't tell me everything will be okay.

I don't need words I need the pain to go away.

Don't tell me I need to speak and not fight

I am a bird and I will only take flight.

I am a Raven forever more.

Not only a name, something I have always searched for.

He can still haunt me.

But he can no longer hurt me.

'Cause this fallen angel, she still has wings.

And he is just a monster, no matter how human he seems.

If I could have flied away that night.

If I could have only taken flight.

Then I would not longer worry about being in his sight.

Because that boy was stronger then I could fight.

Come on birdie use those wings

No matter how much the pain still stings

I wish I had flown away.

Just fly away.

From this town, I'm get outa here.

Fly away, just fly away from here.
