The dream fairy comes at night,
While you're fast asleep,
She glows, just like a silver light,
And let's the moonlight peep.
Her hair is long and shines like gold,
Her skin as smooth as milk,
Her smile is warm and nothing cold,
Her wings are made of silk.
And then, she takes her fairy wand,
And waves it all about,
So that, you dream of what you want,
And wish to not get out.
Of lands that lie so far from you,
Of things you've never seen,
And you can go inside there too,
And dream and dream and dream.
And when you feel so very glad,
The dream fairy flies away,
And now, all that I'd like to add,
Is that, I wish I had made her stay.
