I look out into the vast ocean

So much out there I haven't yet discovered

I step into the tepid waters

The sun shining overhead

I keep walking father into the water

Little waves unaffecting my stride

Slowly as I get to deeper waters

Willing to explore what's out there

Almost out to where it ceases to be shallow

Instantly, the tides increase

Pushing me back to shallow waters

I persist and try to push ahead

But it's a gate

Blocking me from so much more

I'm stuck in shallow waters

Surrounded

And I can't get out.

A/n: It's symbolic to what I'm surrounded .
