Creep into my thoughts,
Creep into my brain,
Wash away all the pain.
I could never be the girl in your dreams,
I could never fall for you.
I love you,
But I’m not sure if you know or not.
I call out your name,
But you just walk away.
I’m crazy.
You know it too.
Everyone sits,
But doesn’t say a word.
The words escaped us long ago.
The wind blows,
And the breeze calms my nerves.
I love the fall,
And I love to feel alive.
You always make me cry,
But I hide it all inside.
Beauty is a gift I did not get.
I claim the path of wisdom,
But I’m not that smart.
Can you see?
This is just too much beauty for me.
Now lay me down,
And let me die tonight.
Let the sweet smell of the wild flowers,
And strawberries run wild.
Now I die,
Now I am free to run wild with this beautiful dream in my head.
